Pazi leaves the index: wrong category, and a price we could not source

The error

Pazi held rank 37 of 41 in this index, in the coding agent segment, with a composite of 56.79. We scored it on 45 executions of the nine prompt vibeOps specification: a multi tenant data model, authentication and sessions, async work, a hardening pass.

Pazi does not sell a coding product. It has not pivoted away from one. Its public site has never advertised one.

What pazi.ai actually sells, read in a browser on 20 August 2026, is business roadmapping. The homepage invites you to describe a business idea and offers examples like opening a coffee shop, finishing and publishing a book, and launching on Product Hunt. The product surface is an idea intake, a dashboard it calls Business Pulse, and per idea roadmaps made of opportunity cards: validate your idea, find customers, build your brand, launch your website.

Against that, here is what our own tool page published about it. Stack: "Your repository, any framework". REST API: "Written to your conventions". Code export: "The code was never anywhere else". None of those describe anything Pazi offers. That is not a scoring disagreement, it is a row about a product that does not exist.

The price did not exist either

We published "Free tier with a small task allowance. Paid plans from EUR 14 per month", and a value subscore of 78 that rested on it.

Verified in a rendering browser on 20 August 2026, pazi.ai/pricing publishes one plan, metered in monthly credit packs, and states it in one line: "One plan. Your credits. Everything is included on Pro." The ladder runs from 12,500 credits at 25 dollars a month up to 250,000 credits at 500 dollars a month, with credits pooled across businesses. There is no free tier on the pricing page at all.

So our published floor was roughly 79 percent below the real entry price, and it was also the wrong shape. A credit pack is not a flat monthly plan, and presenting one as the other misleads anyone trying to work out what a month of real usage costs.

The part that reflects worst on us

Every tool page on this site carries a table headed "Sources and fetch dates", under the line "Every claim on this page traces to one of these". Pazi's table cited its pricing page, fetched 14 August 2026.

That URL is a client rendered shell. To any fetcher without a JavaScript engine it returns the homepage markup, 2,278 bytes, and contains no pricing text whatsoever. Whatever produced the 14 EUR figure, it was not that fetch. The citation was not merely thin, it pointed at a document that could not have contained the fact it was cited for.

A missing citation is a gap a reader can see. A citation that looks solid and is not is worse, because it spends the credibility of every other row in the table. We would rather say that out loud than quietly change a number.

Two things change as a result. A price read from a client only page must now be captured in a rendering browser, and the source table records the capture method alongside the URL, not just the URL. And a sourced claim whose cited document does not contain it is treated as unsourced, which means the claim comes off the page rather than getting a footnote.

Why removal rather than a correction

We considered keeping the row, fixing the price and moving it out of the coding agent segment. We rejected that. The measurements underneath are 45 executions of software engineering prompts against a product that does not do software engineering. There is nothing to correct there, because there was never anything to measure. Pazi is a genuinely interesting product for non technical founders, and it belongs in somebody's index. It does not belong in a benchmark of code generating tools, and that misplacement is ours, not the vendor's.

Pazi is removed from the roster, the raw runs export, the matrix and every leaderboard. Its builder URLs redirect here permanently. The roster drops from 41 products to 39 in this cycle, because Convex Chef also leaves, for an unrelated reason. Ranks below 37 shift up by one from this removal alone.
