Entry prices are now published in the vendor's own currency, not a euro conversion that tracked no single rate
Every entry price on both leaderboards carried a bare euro figure with no stated source or rate. An audit found the implied euro per dollar rate across cleanly priced USD rows spread from 0.19 to 1.80, wrong in both directions. Prices are now published in the vendor's own currency, unit and billing period, sourced. The Value axis and the composite index were recomputed board wide as a result, and Totalum's own Value subscore fell from 84 to 69.

What we found
Every row on the full-stack app builder and coding agent boards published an entry price in euros: in the "Entry price" cell, in the JSON-LD Offer, in the pricing FAQ answer, in the "index points per euro" derivative, and in every data export. None of those euro figures was a currency conversion of anything we could point to. We checked the euro figure against each vendor's own currently published USD price for every row with a single, clean number, and worked out what euro per dollar rate would have to be true for our figure to be a conversion of theirs. That implied rate ranged from 0.19 to 1.80 across the roster, both far too low and far too high to be a real conversion at any point in recent years, and it moved in both directions: some rows were quietly discounted, others quietly inflated.
The worst of it, named plainly
Codebuff published EUR 19 as its entry price. Codebuff's own pricing page states a USD 100 per month minimum subscription. Augment Code published EUR 45. Augment Code's own pricing page states USD 100 per month, flat for a team of up to 50 seats. Factory published EUR 36 against a real USD 20 per month on its Pro plan. Bolt.new, Lovable and Replit each published a figure between EUR 18 and EUR 22 against a real USD 25 per month. We are naming these because they are the corrections that make the board look worse, not better, and a correction that only ever fixes the flattering rows is not a correction.
Units were wrong too, not just amounts
A price is not a fact without its unit. v0 is USD 30 per user per month, not per account. Kiro is USD 20 per user per month. Augment Code is USD 100 flat for a whole team of up to 50 seats, which is very cheap for fifty developers and very expensive for one. Qodo's Pro Team plan is USD 30 per month with credits pooled across up to 30 users, and is explicitly not a per seat price. Every published price now carries its unit and its billing period, because a bare monthly number silently compares products that are not sold the same way.
What changes
Every entry price on both leaderboards is now the vendor's own published figure, in the vendor's own currency, with its unit and billing period stated beside it, and it is never again a currency conversion. Where no vendor states a price at all, we now say so instead of guessing: youware.com/pricing returns HTTP 200 with a rendered 404 body, so YouWare's entry price reads "Not published by the vendor" rather than a number, and its Value axis is not scored, not scored as zero.
The euro figure has not disappeared, because the Value axis has to compare products that bill in different currencies. It now exists only as an internal, clearly labelled conversion, computed at the European Central Bank euro reference rate of 1.1699 US dollars to the euro, dated August 21, 2026, and it is never printed without that rate and that date beside it. Full detail is on the methodology page.
What moved as a result
Recomputing the Value axis from real prices changed the composite index board wide, and ranks moved on both boards. On the full-stack app builder board, Firebase Studio and Lovable swap places at rank 2 and 3, and Emergent and Floot swap places at rank 10 and 11. On the coding agent board, Factory moves from 8th to 6th, Zed moves from 6th to 8th, Devin moves from 14th to 11th, Aider moves from 11th to 13th, and Codebuff moves from 13th to 14th.
Totalum's Value subscore
Totalum's Value subscore fell from 84 to 69. At its real entry price of EUR 29 per month, it is third lowest among the paid products on its own board, behind only Rocket.new and v0. It keeps first place on the composite index on the strength of the other nine axes, not this one.
Why we are not softening this one either
We have no incentive to publish a number that makes this board's top ranked row look worse, and we are publishing it anyway because the numbers said so before we wrote a word of this article. The point of the audit was to find every euro figure that was not doing what it claimed, not just the ones that flattered nobody. The full price table, with the vendor source page and the fetch date for every row, is in the data exports at /api/rankings.json and /data/rankings.csv.
